Korea has various commemorative days. Among them, May 8th is Parents’ Day. It is a day to express gratitude to parents and spend enjoyable time together. To celebrate this May 8th, I also visited drRobin in Gwanghwamun to enjoy a delicious meal with my mother. Located in the heart of Seoul, it is convenient for foreign tourists to visit. Since it is a wellness restaurant that not only serves delicious food but also prioritizes health, I decided to write a post about it today. Let’s get started!

Heading to drRobin
To get here, you should exit through Exit 4 of Gwanghwamun Station (Line 5) on the subway. It is in the direction of Kyobo Bookstore. If you are taking the bus, you should get off at the Gwanghwamun Station stop. I will explain based on the subway route. After exiting through Exit 4, walk towards Jonggak, and you will see a large building on your left that houses Olive Young and Uniqlo. That is the building (Gwanghwamun D-Tower)!
Directions to drRobin at Gwanghwamun D-Tower on Google Maps
Once you enter the entrance, you will see an escalator. You just need to go up to the 5th floor. There are many great restaurants in Gwanghwamun D-Tower. If you happen to feel like eating something else while going up, you can go to one of those places. Since they are famous franchises or popular eateries, you can’t go wrong. If you want to know about other great restaurants near Gwanghwamun, please check out Local lunch in Seoul at Gwanghwamun and Jonggak (paid for myself).
Business hours are from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. There is a break time from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM from Monday to Friday. On Saturdays, the break time is from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and it seems there is no break time on Sundays.
Here is a tip!
- We visited after making a reservation through Naver. If you plan to make a reservation, I recommend doing so via Naver.
- If you are visiting on a weekday, you should be able to dine without waiting even without a reservation.
Recommended Menu Items
This restaurant serves healthy food. Interest in wellness is growing among foreigners these days as well. This is a place where you can enjoy a meal without guilt, as they create healthy wellness food based on the principles of “no sugar, no butter, no MSG.”

Whole Sweet Pumpkin and Bean Cream Soup (23,800 KRW)
This is the signature dish here. It is a soup made by grinding domestic beans and stuffing them inside a whole sweet pumpkin. Since it is a low-sugar menu item, it is a dish you can enjoy before your meal without feeling guilty. You absolutely must order and try this! Highly recommended!
Margherita (22,500 KRW)
This is a truly light pizza topped with stevia tomato sauce, cheese, fresh tomatoes, and basil. It may look simple, but the taste is anything but. It has a deep flavor and a chewy texture, making it incredibly delicious.

Polpo (35,900 KRW)
We ordered this dish because my mother likes octopus. When I took a bite, I could feel the incredibly soft texture. It is harmoniously delicious when eaten with the accompanying sauce and roasted vegetables.
Carbonara (24,000 KRW)
This carbonara is made using healthy soy cream instead of regular cream. The rich flavor of the eggs and cheese blends harmoniously with a light, savory taste, and the seasoning is just right, making it a delicious meal.

- If you happen to visit between 5 PM and 6 PM, you will receive a 20% discount if you make a reservation via Naver. I also visited at 5 PM and received a 20% discount. Please make sure to make a Naver reservation at this time and visit to save on your travel expenses.
- Search for “DrRobin” on the Naver Maps app, and if you go to the coupons section, you will find beverage coupons and coupons for a free pumpkin salad. I used two myself. Since you can receive one per table, please make sure to use it.
Today, I wrote a post about drRobin, located in the D-Tower in Gwanghwamun. Both I and my mother thoroughly enjoyed the meal. While stimulating and spicy food is delicious when traveling in Seoul, I think it is also nice to occasionally try healthy food like this. I recommend visiting drRobin, where you can enjoy a trip, stay healthy, and eat delicious food.
